Educational Background
Truman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1989. Truman obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in 1992.
Professional Affiliations
Truman is a member of the Oregon State and Yamhill County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Truman is Past-Chair of the Consumer Law Section of the Oregon State Bar and a frequent speaker on consumer topics. Truman has recently co-edited revisions to the book Consumer Law in Oregon, published in 2005.
