Educational Background
Steve received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors
in Speech Communications from Carroll College in Helena, Montana in
1989. While at Carroll, Steve won over 50 debate awards in national
competitions. Steve obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the
University of Oregon School of Law in 1994. While at law school, he
represented the school in regional moot court competitions and
served on the managerial board of the Oregon Law
Review.
Professional Affiliations
Steve is a member of the Oregon State and Yamhill
County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the U.S.
District Court for the District of Oregon. Steve is currently one
of the Municipal Judges for the City of Newberg.
