Upon graduation from
law school, Allyn served as a Deputy District Attorney for Yamhill
County, Oregon, before going into the general practice of law in
Newberg, Oregon. In 1972, he established his own law firm and has
been in private practice ever since. While in private practice,
Allyn has served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Newberg,
Municipal Judge, and State Circuit Judge Pro Tempore. Allyn's
practice consists primarily of estate planning, estate
administration, elder law, business law, and real estate.
Educational Background
Allyn received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Economics from the University of Oregon in 1966. Allyn
attended the University of Oregon School of Law and obtained his
Juris Doctorate degree in 1969.
Professional Affiliations
Allyn is admitted to the practice of
law in the State of Oregon and U.S. District Court for the District
of Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Yamhill
County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National
Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the National Academy of
Elder Law Attorneys. Allyn has served on the Oregon State Bar
Association's Executive Committees for the Estate Planning and
Administration Section and the Elder Law Section.
